Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist as well as a musician. She works mostly in Tamil and Malayalam movies that are based on the Tamil language. She first made an appearance as an actor with the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut in Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in a Tamil Nadu Anglo-Indian home. Andrea's father was an Madras High Court lawyer. She is the younger sister of a researcher assistant from Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah, who was born in Chennai attended National Public School. He completed his studies at Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano around the age of eight. Andrea was a huge geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. She was part of The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped her singing and music composition career. While at college she was also an actor and appeared in stage shows that were put on by The Madras Players. Andrea was the President of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva as part of a advertisement for coffee in the year 2006. Also, she acted as a character in Podhigai's serial. She performed throughout India. There was a brief appearance in the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). When she sang a tune in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu she was asked to appear as the main female characters in his next project Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani in the film that is a re-imagining of James Siegel's novel Derailed. Her husband takes part in a relationship with her and is blackmailed by her husband. Andrea got the part of Kalyani after Simran Shobana Tabu and other actors were approached. Released in Early the year 2010. Her minor role was accepted in Venkat's Mankatha in the year 2011, which starred a number of actors. In 2013, she made her debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's romantic movie Annayum Rasoolum.
