Annie Murphy
Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on 19th December 1986. She is Canadian and has been employed in Hollywood's film industry for a variety of projects. The most notable of them is performing the role of Alexis Rose in the CBC comedy series Schitt's Ridge that began in 2015 and concluded in the year 2020. Her performance was praised by critics as well as she received the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ottawa Ontario Canada. Her parents used to work as educators. Elmwood School was her first option in Ottawa which was where she performed in various stage productions. Then she enrolled in Concordia University from where she obtained a degree in theater performance. In the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory is where she studied acting. After turning 22, she relocated to Los Angeles where acting became her career. Annie Murphy made her acting debut in 2007when she appeared in the crime thriller TV movie Lethal Obsession. After that, she performed in a variety of movies as an actress or in smaller roles. Story of Jen, released in 2008, Lick in the year 2010, along with A Windigo Tale were all hits. In addition, she has played in Canadian series including Good God which aired on 2012 Rookie Blue that aired the following year. She seems to have the capacity of working on many acting projects. Annie had a difficult time gaining recognition when she began her professional acting journey.
